Bhubaneswar, July 3 -- Odisha is expected to witness heavy rainfall for another two days as the low-pressure area over the Bay of Bengal continues to intensify. The Meteorological Department issued a forecast that the state will continue to experience rainfall till July 6.

The weather system caused widespread rainfall across Odisha, with heavy rainfall on July 2. Southern and northern parts of the state are expected to receive the heaviest showers.
