Odisha man with no limbs continues 12-year fight for justice
Bhubaneswar, June 27 -- Once the brightest smile in his family, Shiba Munda never imagined that a day spent playing with friends would leave him disabled for life. At an age when children dream of a bright future, he lost both legs and a hand in a horrific accident involving hot ash dumped in an open field.
Twelve years later, the wounds have not healed.
Living with a disability, dependent on his family and still seeking help, Shiba continues to wait for the justice he believes he deserves.
Soon after the mishap, he was rushed to hospital, but the injuries were so serious that doctors had to amputate both his legs and one hand. The accident ended his childhood overnight and changed the course of his life forever.
