Bhubaneswar, June 24 -- Odisha's road and transport infrastructure received a major boost with the inauguration and launch of projects worth Rs 1,191 crore, officials said on Tuesday.

The projects were inaugurated and foundation stones laid on June 20 in the presence of President Droupadi Murmu, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi during a programme at Rairangpur in Mayurbhanj district.

A total of nine projects were dedicated to the public. These include four National Highway projects valued at Rs 536.88 crore. They are:

- Nayagarh Bypass on NH-57- Rigdol-Belgaon stretch on NH-59- Reamal Bypass on NH-53 - Kotpad Bypass on NH-63
