Bhubaneswar, Sept. 8 -- The Odisha Vigilance on Monday registered another case against former Junior Engineer (JE) of the Odisha Lift Irrigation Corporation (OLIC), Subrat Mohanty, for allegedly possessing disproportionate assets (DA) exceeding 123 per cent of his known sources of income.

According to the Vigilance, Mohanty, formerly posted as JE at the OLIC Sub-Division in Udala, Mayurbhanj, and currently posted at the OLIC Division in Balasore, was found to be in possession of unaccounted assets disproportionate to his known sources of income.

In connection with the case, the Vigilance registered a case against Mohanty and his spouse under Section 13(2), Sections 13(1)(b) and 12 of the Prevention of Corruption (Amendment) Act, 2018 at...
