Bhubaneswar, July 2 -- A senior prison official was reportedly seen roaming around and socialising publicly with suspected criminals in the Rairakhol region in Sambalpur district. The Chief Warder of Rairakhol Jail drew severe criticism following reports of him partying and roaming alongside former inmates under the alleged influence of alcohol.

The official has been identified as Rairakhol Jail Chief Warder Dilip Kumar Das. According to reports, Das was seen accompanying individuals who were until recently incarcerated under his supervision.

On a road, the Chief Warder was reportedly seen recording videos and exhibiting mannerisms that strongly suggested he was under the influence of alcohol.
