Bhubaneswar, Sept. 23 -- Continuous rain in Ganjam district's Sankhemundi block has led to muddy water flowing down from the hills and onto National Highway 326 near Taptapani, making travel through the area difficult.

The Taptapani region has been receiving rainfall for the past two days. The runoff from the hills is carrying mud and soil towards the road, particularly near the Taptapani-Palukhol stretch of NH-326.

The flow of muddy water across the road has made the stretch difficult for commuters. Vehicles passing through the area have to negotiate the water and mud coming down from the hillside.

With rainfall continuing, the condition could worsen if more water flows down from the hills. Commuters using the Taptapani-Palukhol route...
