Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Monday reviewed the functioning of the Health and Family Welfare (H&FW) Department and announced a major boost to the State's healthcare workforce.

From the discussions, it was revealed that 1,840 doctors and over 5,000 paramedical staff will soon be recruited across the State. The CM also directed officials to expedite the filling of vacant professor, associate professor, and assistant professor posts in medical colleges.
