Bhubaneswar, Aug. 4 -- During a high-level meeting of the secretaries on Tuesday, the Odisha government directed all departments to prioritise flood relief and compensation for affected people. The decision came after a proper review of the post-flood situation across the State.

Chief Secretary Anu Garg emphasised that no eligible beneficiary should be left out while distributing relief assistance and compensation for losses caused by the floods. Officials were instructed to ensure close coordination among departments so that financial aid and essential support reach all deserving families without delay.
