Odisha govt orders medical screening of 680 teachers seeking transfer over terminal illness
Bhubaneswar, June 19 -- The Odisha State Standing Medical Board in Koraput has scheduled medical examinations for 680 teachers who have applied for transfers on the grounds of terminal illness affecting themselves, their spouses or their children. The verification exercise has been initiated to find out the genuineness of medical claims submitted under the special transfer category.
The examinations will be conducted at the Clinical Lecture Theatre of SLN Medical College and Hospital, Koraput, following directions issued by the Directorate of Elementary Education, Odisha.
