Bhubaneswar, June 29 -- The Odisha government is set to constitute new School Management Committees (SMCs) in all schools across the state from July 1.

The move comes amid the expiry of the existing tenure of the School Management Committees (SMCs) and School Management and Development Committees (SMDCs) on June 30.

According to reports, all District Education Officers-cum-District Project Coordinators are directed to initiate the process of constituting one School Management Committee (SMC).
