Bhubaneswar, June 13 -- Names of various public offices and institutions across Odisha are set to be updated within a month to ensure correct phonetic and linguistic spelling, Revenue Minister Suresh Pujari announced on Saturday.

The directive follows a state Cabinet decision approving a proposal to rectify the English spellings of 64 locations spanning 26 districts. The initiative aims to eliminate distorted English spellings that have persisted in official records since the British colonial era.
