Bhubaneswar, April 22 -- The Odisha government has reconstituted the State Transgender Welfare Board, introducing a revised structure aimed at strengthening governance and representation.

As per the new composition, the Chief Secretary will serve as the Chairperson of the Board. The Secretary of the Department of Social Empowerment and Persons with Disabilities (SEPD) will act as the Vice-Chairperson. Meanwhile, the Director of the same department has been designated as the Member Secretary.

In addition, an Additional Secretary from the State Police (DGP office) will be a member of the board.
