Bhubaneswar, May 14 -- Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi chaired a key high-level meeting to review the law and order situation in the State on Thursday amid growing concerns over the recent incidents reported from different districts.

According to sources, the review assumes significance as the State has witnessed several incidents in recent days that have raised concerns over public safety and policing. During the key meeting, CM Majhi expressed dissatisfaction over the 'deteriorating' law and order situation in some areas and issued strong directions to the police administration to take immediate and effective action.
