Bhubaneswar, April 2 -- The results of the annual Matric exam conducted by the Board of Secondary Education (BSE), Odisha are expected to be declared in the first or second week of May, board president Srikant Tarai said on Thursday.

The evaluation of answer scripts deadline is concluding today. The process reported to have been carried out smoothly and without discrepancies. So far, answer sheets from four districts have been evaluated, while scripts from the remaining districts are yet to be received.

Officials indicated that the evaluation exercise began on March 19 and was initially expected to conclude by April 2.
