Bhubaneswar, July 1 -- In a landmark decision aimed at strengthening its 'KG to PG, Free Education' commitment, the Government of Odisha on Wednesday approved a major new scheme titled "Gyanodaya - Shiksharu Samruddhi", which will provide a comprehensive fee waiver for students across Government and Government-Aided educational institutions.

The decision was taken at a recent Cabinet meeting, with the government describing it as a transformative step to make quality education more accessible, equitable, and affordable for students across Odisha.
