Bhubaneswar, April 26 -- Odisha set up a target to achieve self-reliance in milk, egg and fish production by 2036. The aim is also to secure a position among the top five milk-producing states in the country by 2047, Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi said on Saturday.
The announcement was made during the 'World Veterinary Day-2026' event held at Lok Seva Bhawan, where the Chief Minister outlined the state government's long-term vision for strengthening the livestock and allied sectors.
