Bhubaneswar, May 2 -- In a remarkable achievement, girls have outshone boys in the Odisha Matriculation results for the year 2026 that was announced today i.e. Saturday (May 2). The results, which were officially declared by the Minister of School and Mass Education, show that the pass rate for girls surpasses that of their male counterparts, continuing a growing trend of academic excellence among female students in the state.
A total of 2,63,222 female students have successfully passed the matriculation exams, while 2,56,029 male students secured their pass. This represents a slight edge in favor of the girls, highlighting their consistent performance across Odisha's educational landscape.
