Bhubaneswar, April 12 -- After a harrowing and life-threatening experience, Odiasailor Ashok Dixit has finally returned home after spending over five months at sea, including 36 days stranded in the conflict-hit Strait of Hormuz. He arrived at Bhubaneswar airport from Visakhapatnam, where he was warmly received by his wife, family members, friends and well-wishers.

Expressing relief and gratitude, Dixit thanked Lord Jagannath for his safe return and acknowledged the prayers and support of his family. His wife said the period was filled with anxiety, as she had very limited communication with him during the crisis.
