India, Oct. 6 -- The Chief Election Commissioner of India, Gyanesh Kumar, on Monday announced that the Nuapada bypoll in Odisha will be held on November 11.

As per the announcement, the counting of votes will take place on November 14.

The announcement of the bypoll date followed a press conference by the Election Commission, which shared the new details and processes that will be incorporated for the highly anticipated Bihar assembly elections.

Bihar will vote in two phases on November 6 and 11. The results and counting of votes will be done on November 14, 2025.
