Bhubaneswar, Aug. 27 -- For Urbashi Das of Kendrapara and Parbati Singh of Baripada, Raksha Bandhan is about a bond that goes beyond physical limitations. While Urbashi uses her feet to tie rakhi, Parbati, who has never seen the world, understands the festival through the love and support she shares with her brother.

Urbashi, from Naarsahi village under Aul block in Kendrapara, was born with both hands unable to function. She has learnt to use her feet for everyday tasks and has never allowed her disability to stop her.

For the past eight years, she has been tying a rakhi on Prakash's wrist using her feet. Prakash is not her biological brother, but has remained close to her and regularly looks after her and her parents.
