Bhubaneswar, July 6 -- Ahead of the annual Rath Yatra, Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Monday issued a series of strict directives to ensure the smooth, secure, and disciplined conduct of the festival, with special emphasis on the issuance of cordon passes, crowd management, and the safety of devotees.

Chairing the final review meeting, the Chief Minister made it clear that not a single additional cordon pass will be issued beyond the prescribed limit. He directed the Puri District Collector to strictly adhere to the rules and ensure that passes are issued only to servitors and officials directly associated with the temple rituals and ceremonial duties. No other person will be granted a cordon pass.
