No errors in Class I textbook, informs Odisha Education Minister
Bhubaneswar, Aug. 6 -- Odisha School and Mass Education Minister Nityananda Gond on Thursday clarified that there were no errors in the Class I textbook, contrary to the reports and allegations being circulated.
Speaking after a high-level meeting held at the Chief Minister's Office to review the controversy surrounding the textbooks, the Minister said the issue has been misrepresented.
Gond stated that no such mistake exists in the Class I textbook as is being claimed in public discussions. However, he assured that the government would soon provide students with the correct version of the textbooks wherever necessary to ensure there is no confusion among children.
