Bhubaneswar, April 12 -- On the occasion of Mahatma Jyotiba Phule's 199th birth anniversary, an ideal mass wedding ceremony was organised in Bargarh by the Ambedkar Charitable Trust.

In a progressive initiative, the marriages were conducted without any caste considerations or dowry. The ceremonies were completed in a simple and dignified manner, with couples exchanging floral garlands.

A total of seven couples tied the knot during the event. After the ceremony, the newlyweds were seen expressing happiness as they embarked on their new journey together.
