Bhubaneswar, Oct. 20 -- DJ vehicles will not be allowed during Durga Puja idol immersion processions in Bhubaneswar, informed DCP Saravana Vivek M on Tuesday. Authorities have warned of criminal action against those who violate the restrictions.

DCP Saravana said that the restrictions aim to ensure that the immersion processions conclude peacefully and without disrupting law and order.

Playing loud music after 10 pm is also prohibited under the applicable Supreme Court guidelines, he added.
