No cleaning for 2 days! Protest rocks Bhima Bhoi Medical College in Odisha
Bhubaneswar, Aug. 6 -- Sanitation workers at Bhima Bhoi Medical College and Hospital in Odisha's Bolangir district have been protesting for the past two days after a fellow worker was removed from duty by the hospital authorities. The agitation resulted in the complete suspension of cleaning services at the hospital.
According to the sanitation workers, the protest began after hospital authorities removed sanitation worker Mayadhar Suna from duty, alleging that he was found sleeping inside a ward. Following this, all sanitation workers have stopped work and staged a protest against the action since Tuesday.
