Bhubaneswar, May 23 -- Following the cancellation of the initial NEET UG 2026 examination due to allegations of a paper leak and other irregularities, the National Testing Agency (NTA) officially commenced the fee refund process.

The online portal became operational on May 21, 2026, allowing candidates who sat for the original test on May 3 to claim their examination fees. Meanwhile, the agency is preparing to conduct a fresh pen-and-paper re-examination on June 21, 2026, from 2:00 pm to 5:15 pm, with more than 22 lakh candidates expected to participate.
