Bhubaneswar, Oct. 1 -- A woman's death in Nayagarh district has led to the arrest of her husband and father-in-law, with her family alleging that she had been facing dowry-related harassment at her in-laws' house.

The incident was reported from Pratap Prasad village under Itamati police station. Police had earlier arrested the woman's mother-in-law in connection with the case.

The deceased, Laxmipriya Barik, had married Danda Pani Barik of Pratap Prasad village around six years ago. Her family alleged that she had been facing harassment over dowry since soon after the marriage.
