Bhubaneswar, April 4 -- A youth, who sustained critical injuries in a firecracker explosion in Odisha's Nayagarh district, has died while undergoing treatment at AIIMSBhubaneswar on Saturday. The deceased has been identified as Bapi Nahak of Minagadia village.

The incident occurred at Korada village under Nuagaon police station limits, where a powerful blast during firecracker preparation had left at least six persons critically injured. Two others continue to be treated at AIIMS Bhubaneswar, while three more are undergoing treatment at SCB Medical College and Hospital.
