A Mumbai Monorail train came to a sudden halt on Tuesday evening between Mysore Colony and Bhakti Park stations, leaving passengers stranded mid-air as heavy rains lashed the city. The incident took place on the elevated corridor, with the train stuck for nearly an hour before rescue operations began, officials confirmed.

According to a release issued by Mumbai Monorail authorities, the disruption was caused by a "minor power supply issue". The technical snag left the coaches immobile, forcing authorities to step in with an urgent evacuation plan.
