Bhubaneswar, Sept. 21 -- Jail Superintendent Sujit Kumar Raul was sent to Choudwar Jail in Cuttack on Monday after being arrested in connection with allegations of forgery of the jail minute book. He was produced before a judge at his residence at around 12.30 am and was taken to Choudwar Jail at around 2 am.

Choudwar police had prepared the necessary paperwork inside the vehicle for a long time on National Highway 16 before taking Raul to the jail.

Serious sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) were invoked against Raul. He was forwarded to court in connection with the alleged forgery of the jail minute book.
