Bhubaneswar, May 17 -- A serious allegation has surfaced against the Inspector-in-Charge (IIC) of Morada Police Station in Odisha's Mayurbhanj district, with a minor girl and her family accusing the officer of intimidation during the handling of a complaint.

The family has now approached the Superintendent of Police (SP), seeking justice and action against the police official.

According to the allegations, the minor girl was reportedly called to the police station and allegedly threatened by the IIC to withdraw a case. The family further claimed that the girl became unconscious following the alleged intimidation and had to be admitted to hospital.
