A disturbing case of alleged sexual assault emerged on Tuesday from Tantiapal police limits in Kendrapara district, where a minor schoolgirl accused her tuition teacher of rape and blackmail.
According to an FIR lodged by the girl's family, the tutor first proposed a relationship to the girl and, upon refusal, allegedly raped her and threatened to leak obscene photographs to pressure her into silence.
The victim's family has approached the local police station, but the family alleges no action was taken even after filing a formal complaint.
