Bhubaneswar, March 2 -- Tension ran high at Fakir Mohan University on Sunday night after athletes resorted to protest by sitting outside the main gate of the campus late at night after a dispute broke out over food arrangements.

The incident involved students from Odisha's Sambalpur University who had arrived to participate in a sports event hosted by the university. According to allegations, tension escalated after the visiting students raised objections regarding the quality of food served on campus.
