Bhubaneswar, June 28 -- In a disturbing incident, the body of a young man was recovered from an abandoned area within the campus of the Dhenkanal District Headquarters Hospital (DHH) in Odisha's Dhenkanal on Sunday.

According to reports, the deceased has been identified as Manoranjan Patnaik from Kankalunda village under the Gandia area in the district. He had been admitted to the hospital on Saturday morning after reportedly falling ill. He was suffering from gastritis and diabetes.

However, sources say he was discharged later in the evening.
