Bhubaneswar, Oct. 13 -- Continuous rainfall left Malkangiri town in Odisha paralysed for some time, with several parts of the area inundated on Sunday. The downpour caused widespread waterlogging, disrupting daily life and bringing movement across key routes to a halt.
In one alarming incident, an ambulance carrying a critically ill patient got stuck in the rainwater for a while due to a road blockage, reportedly. The stagnant water and submerged roads hindered traffic flow, making it difficult for emergency vehicles to move.
As per reports, the water level in several areas reached knee height, submerging vehicle wheels, causing distress to commuters.
