Bhubaneswar, March 16 -- A major fire broke out at the Trauma Care ICU of SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack, creating panic inside the critical care unit and leading to a serious emergency situation.

The fire reportedly started inside the Trauma Care Intensive Care Unit (ICU), after which hospital authorities and staff rushed to rescue patients admitted to the ward. Several critically ill patients were evacuated from the ICU and shifted to other units of the hospital for treatment.
