Bhubaneswar, March 11 -- A growing LPG shortage in Puri district has created a worrying situation for the hospitality sector, with several hotels beginning preparations to switch to traditional firewood stoves on Wednesday.

Due to the unavailability of LPG cylinders, many hotels and eateries in the coastal city are allegedly being forced to consider alternative cooking arrangements. Some large hotels have already started preparing to install wood-fired stoves to keep their kitchens running.
