Bhubaneswar, March 28 -- Allegations of black marketing of LPG cylinders sparked tension in the Airfield area of Bhubaneswar on Saturday, as hundreds of consumers created a ruckus outside a gas agency over non-delivery of booked cylinders.

According to reports, a large number of people gathered in front of the agency, expressing anger after waiting for hours despite receiving delivery messages. Many consumers alleged that although they had booked cylinders weeks ago and even received delivery messages, the cylinders were not delivered.

"I booked the gas on January 28 and received a delivery message on February 11. But I am yet to receive it even after visiting the agency thrice," said a consumer.
