Bhubaneswar, April 29 -- The West Asia conflict that escalated in late February has triggered turbulence in global energy markets, with its impact now reaching Indian households through rising LPG costs. As May approaches, further revisions in cylinder prices and changes in booking and delivery rules are expected, adding to a series of measures already introduced since the crisis began.
Oil marketing companies have already increased the price of the 14.2 kg domestic LPG cylinder by Rs 60 across the country. Commercial 19-kg cylinders have seen three price hikes within a month.
