Long queues shrink at petrol pumps as fuel supply nears normalcy in Bhubaneswar
Bhubaneswar, May 17 -- The fuel supply situation in Bhubaneswar has started returning to normal, though the impact of the recent petrol and diesel shortage is yet to ease completely. While queues at several fuel stations have reduced significantly, mild crowding was still seen at a few petrol pumps across the city on Sunday.
According to sources, the disruption in fuel supply was mainly caused due to delays in loading operations at depots. Long queues of fuel tankers at the depots reportedly affected the timely transportation of petrol and diesel to retail outlets, leading to an abnormal situation in several parts of the state capital over the past few days.
