Bhubaneswar, Aug. 7 -- A container truck loaded with parcels was completely gutted in a major fire incident near Simulia's Markona Bazar in Balasore district of Odisha on Friday. The blaze destroyed the entire consignment inside the container, leaving behind only charred remains of the parcels.

As per initial reports, the container truck was travelling from Kolkata to Sambalpur when it suddenly started emitting thick smoke while moving along the road. Within moments, the smoke turned into flames, causing panic among local residents and passersby in the area.

The fire spread rapidly through the cargo section of the truck, engulfing the entire container and destroying all the parcels stored inside.
