Livestock pay the price as Odisha veterinary hospital stays underwater for months
Bhubaneswar, Aug. 5 -- The government veterinary hospital in the Balipatna area in Odisha's Khordha district stays underwater for months, creating serious problems for farmers in the area. The animal hospital, located near the state capital, suffers from severe waterlogging every rainy season.
Failing to drain out from the premises, rainwater is seen collecting around the entire facility. This makes it extremely difficult for the local farmers to bring their livestock and poultry for medical treatment.
