Bhubaneswar, Feb. 21 -- The Odisha government has announced a shift towards Tetra Pak packaging for liquor, replacing traditional glass bottles in the state. The move was revealed by Excise Minister Prithviraj Harichandan, who hailed it as a step toward promoting environmentally sustainable practices.
According to Minister Harichandan, liquor in Odisha will soon be sold in tetra packs, a packaging format similar to those used for soft drinks and fruit beverages. The new format is expected to gradually replace glass bottles in retail outlets across the state.
