Lionel Messi, the legendary Argentine footballer and Barcelona icon, is set to visit India this December, with his tour kicking off in Kolkata. The announcement regarding the tour dates was made on Saturday.
Messi will begin his Indian journey in the "City of Joy," where he will spend the longest leg of his visit-two days and one night. His stay in Kolkata will start with a meet-and-greet event, followed by the grand unveiling of a 70-foot statue in his honor at Lake Town Sribhumi on VIP Road, touted as the tallest Messi statue in the world.
