Bhubaneswar, May 20 -- In a significant verdict in a sensational murder case that had shocked the city, the Bhubaneswar ADJ court on Wednesday sentenced three persons to life imprisonment for the brutal killing of a youth named Kritibas Parija alias Sonu over a decade ago in 2014 under the Khandagiri police station limits.

After 12 long years of investigation and trial, justice was finally delivered, with the court naming Sanjay Khuntia as the main accused. The murder was reportedly committed over a monetary dispute, and the brutality of the crime horrified the city.
