Bhubaneswar, Aug. 6 -- A youth from Odisha's Kendrapara district allegedly died while undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Bhubaneswar on Wednesday after sustaining critical injuries at a feast.

The deceased, identified as Amarjit Kar, was a resident of Tarajanga village under the jurisdiction of Derabish Police.

According to reports, Amarjit was invited by one of his friends to attend a feast on July 29. Later that afternoon, his family received information about his deteriorating condition.

Following this, he was initially shifted to Cuttack in a critical condition. He was later admitted to a private hospital in Bhubaneswar for advanced treatment.
