Bhubaneswar, June 7 -- Religious rituals and purification ceremonies were conducted at the Kendrapara District Collector's office on Sunday after a youth was found dead under mysterious circumstances inside the premises.

The body Chandan Das, was recovered from the Collectorate, triggering concern and raising questions over the circumstances surrounding his death.

As part of the purification process, the office premises were cleaned and washed before prayers and a cleansing ritual were performed. The entire office complex is undergoing purification. No reaction has been received from any employee of the Collectorate or from the District Collector regarding the matter.
