Bhubaneswar, May 1 -- Kalbaisakhi rain wreaked havoc in the Twin City of Bhubaneswar and Cuttack on Thursday. Three persons were left in a critical condition after being hit by lightening. Strong winds caused hoardings to collapse at multiple locations.

In Bhubaneswar, a massive iron hoarding structure collapsed near the Durga Puja mandap at Old Station Bazaar during the storm.

While no casualties were reported, a car and a bike were damaged after being trapped under the fallen structure. People present in the area managed to move to safety in time.
