The disappointing box office performance of War 2 has sent shockwaves through Yash Raj Films (YRF), forcing the studio to rethink its ambitious Spy Universe plans. The Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR starrer, initially expected to be a pan-India blockbuster, opened decently but soon lost momentum, struggling to cross the Rs 300 crore mark worldwide.
Sources now suggest that YRF has shelved its plan for a standalone film focused on Jr NTR's character, Agent Vikram.
