Bhubaneswar, April 27 -- Odisha continues to reel under an intense heatwave, with the maximum (day) temperatures soaring across multiple districts and breaking records. On Monday, at least 14 cities in the State recorded temperatures above 41 Degrees Celsius.

Jharsuguda emerged as the hottest location in the State, recording a blistering 44.7degC. Close behind was Bargarh at 43.9degC, followed by Boudh at 43.5degC and Bolangir at 43.3degC. Temperatures in Sambalpur and Nuapada also remained high at 43.2degC each.
